Following a power outage at the Ruthe Jackson Center, our 2017 Annual Meeting commenced as planned. After about 45 minutes we had the results of Proxy, absentee ballots and ballots cast in person.
The results were members of the current Board were reelected (Robbie Jamison, Karelin Seitz and Don Ryan) and our newest Board is Alfredo (Fred) Quintero. We would like to welcome Fred to the Board of Directors!
The current Board is as follows:
- Don Ryan – President
- John Moreno – Vice President
- Karelin Seitz – Secretary
- Robbie Jamison – Treasurer
- Jerry Hopper – Board Member
- Alfredo Quintero – Board Member
- Bea Beltran – Board Member
Power is back on at the Ruthe Jackson Center, so our meeting will be there as originally planned.
The storm last night demonstrates why we asked our residents to trim the trees on their property, and why we ask for proof of homeowner’s insurance. The tree below damaged the fence and landed on the house next to it. This tree appears to have been dead for a while. Since this tree damaged the fence adjacent to common property, the homeowner is responsible to replace that fence.
Following the storm last night, Ruthe Jackson does not have power.
If it is not restored by 6PM or so, we will have no choice but to move the meeting to our Office.
The new GP Pipeline is posted.
We will mow on the West side tomorrow, March 21st.
We will mow the East side on Wednesday, March 22nd.
I noticed we had a few sales going on this weekend and had vehicles parked in the Fire Lane. If you are planning on having a sale at your property, you are responsible for
where people park. You also need to get the proper permits from the city of GP prior to the sale.
While we do understand you cannot control everything, please advise those who visit your sales that they can be towed and charged around $300+ to get their vehicles back.
