We were informed this morning that the City of GP will be changing out all 25 of our water meters starting today. We have no idea where they will start or the order in which they will be replaced. This will prevent us from letting people know where the work will be going on. We are at the mercy of the water department.
One benefit, though, is the water meters are flange mounted. It’s a matter of several bolts and 2 gaskets to change them out, so it should be done quickly.
That being said, water to a many homes will be curtailed for an hour or so without warning while they change these meters out.
