Board Meeting Postponed

The next regularly scheduled Board meeting was set for June 4, 2020, but is postponed until a later date to be announced.  Due to close proximity in the Office and at the meeting table, we cannot maintain appropriate distancing at this time.

We are exploring other options, such as a virtual meeting,  so we can continue to have Board meetings and keep both our members and the Board safe and healthy in the process.

Once we decide on the media, we will notify members where they can attend the meeting. It would be much easier of we had email addresses for all members. but we do not.

 

2019 Board Election

We held our 2019 Annual meeting last night and John Moreno and Sheri Geurts we re-elected to the Board for a 3 year term (until March 2022)

Our officers remain the same, with the exception of Sheri Geurts now being our Secretary.

We want to thank Robbie Jamison for stepping as acting Secretary following the resignation of the previous Secretary.

Our Newest Board Members

At last night’s Board meeting, we appointed 2 homeowners to fill the recent 2 Board vacancies left by the sale of properties. These appointments are for the remainder of the terms the previous Board members were elected to, one ending next year and the other in 2020.

2018 Annual Membership Meeting

We have reserved the Dechman Room which holds 50-60 people and we have the room from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. The meeting starts at 7 PM sharp.

We will have 2 six foot tables for the Board and vote counting and tables which can accommodate 40 people. We will also have overflow chairs available; the room will hold 90 total.

Change in Board of Directors

Mary Hartman, Board Secretary, has resigned effective November 29, 2016. Mary was kind enough to take on the role of Secretary following the death of Dotti Tunnell in June 2014. We would like to thank Mary for her years of service to the HOA community. The Board has decided to wait until the 2017 election before appointing a Secretary, since we appoint officers following the Board elections. In the interim, we will have an acting Board Secretary to handle those duties.

At the December 1st Board meeting, the Board appointed Bea Beltran to fill the remainder of Karen McCrary’s term following her resignation in June 2016. We would like to welcome Dr. Beltran to the Board; her term will end in March of 2019.
