The City water department is replacing a meter on the west side, right in front of 41 West MC Drive.
We are not sure how long it will take as they are using a back hoe and raising the meter itself.
We do not allow Satellite dishes installed on HOA common property. Since I have been on the Board, I have only seen this maybe one other time, where a dish was mounted in common property, and when asked why they did it, I was asked “where else should we put it?” Well, definitely not on HOA property, for sure.
The dish below is sitting on a mounting plate which is resting on the ground and held in place with 4 concrete blocks.
I followed the cable to see where it went, and that homeowner will be getting a letter. Why anyone, including a satellite installer, would believe this is acceptable is beyond me. The Declaration (CC&R) definitely prohibits this.

We have a leak on the West side, in front of 31 West MC Drive. It is in the general vicinity of a previous leak there. As we dug to see what was causing this leak, we found a water meter about 3 feet down; that’s an odd place to put a water meter.
So, the City is out repairing the meter leak, and will eventually raise it up to ground level.

The new GP Pipeline is posted.
It is going to be very cold over the next 3 or 4 days with evening temperatures well below freezing. The last time we had below freezing temperatures, we had 5 townhouses that had burst pipes, 4 of them were in the two story out buildings and one was a pipe in a second floor outside wall that burst and flooded both floors.
Those of you who have washer connections either in a 2 story out building or in a room off the carport, please make sure pipes are wrapped and protected. Also make sure your faucets are protected.
