The Office will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2018. We will be open on Tuesday, January 2nd.
Trash will be picked up on Tuesday, January 2nd and the following Thursday, January 4th. Please do not put out trash on Monday to avoid fines.
Lately, we have been noticing people and vehicles which do not seem to belong on our property, but I am not talking about holiday visitors. Certain areas of the property are regularly used to park off of traveled roads and these people/vehicles come here to either drink or do illegal activities. We are also having mailboxes vandalized and packages being ransacked or stolen (not just here, but in the general area) and I wonder if these suspicious persons are responsible.
Please call the Grand Prairie PD and report suspicious people and/or vehicles that you see; the Non-Emergency number is 972-237-8790 or you can call 9-1-1.
We have a large item pickup scheduled for the West side on Thursday, December 28, 2017.
We will do the East side on January 4th, 2018.
As usual, certain items are restricted and will be on the notices we put out.

Oncor is on property replacing a damaged primary supply line to a transformer. This work will be done near 16 East Townhouse Lane, and crews will be out tomorrow and maybe Friday.
The Office will be closed on Thursday, December 7th and Friday, December 8th. Terry will be taking a few days off to welcome her new grandchild. We will be open as usual on Monday.

We have sent out the 2018 Budget Letters to all homeowners on November 29, 2017. These letters contain the 2018 Budget, the cover letter and an informational notice (3 pages total). In the cover letter, we once again ask all homeowners to update their contact information and to provide proof of insurance (cost to replace), and we have had several people stop by the office to update their information. It is imperative that we have current contact information for all homeowners.
The Board did vote to keep dues at the same amount as for 2017. However, we still have some paying the old amount of $158.00 despite repeated letters telling them they are paying the wrong amount since January 2017. We are sending out another letter informing them that we are adding interest to the amount owes, as allowed in our Governing Documents. We usually do not add interest to past due amounts but we are in this case. It is not fair to all of the other homeowners paying the correct amount to not pursue these past due amounts.
We have one Board member term expiring next year and will be taking resumes for those interested in running for that position after the first of the year (January 1, 2018). Information on how to submit a resume or other information is contained in the cover letter with the Budget.
