We have added a few photos of the new Pergola on the East Side, replacing one that was old and well worn. The main structure is up and the seating will be added after the Holiday.
The Office will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 23rd and 24th. We will reopen on Monday, November 27th.
We will not pick up trash on Thursday due to the holiday. We will pick up trash on Friday, November 24th.
Please do not put your trash out on Thursday or you may incur fines. We still have a lot of folks who put trash bags out the night before and animals end up scattering it all over, especially if they smell food in the bag.
There are a few photos posted on current sidewalk work here. We will be replacing sidewalks around the complex, doing the worst ones first.
Next to where the old tennis court was, (behind the shop area) there was a wooden pergola with 2 benches. It has been there for a very long time, and was rotten. It was taken down several months ago and today we began replacing it with pressure treated wood. We will put in a bench structure on the sides next week or so.
We are building it “beefy” with 4″ x 6″ posts, and 2″ x 6″ cross pieces on top. Once the guys are done, we will stain it.
I had a visit today from the Pastor and was asked to let our residents know about the lunch they are having next week. Here is the card he left:
We will be mowing the West side on Tuesday (tomorrow), November 14, and the East side on Wednesday, November 15.
This time of year we usually mow only once per month due to slower growth.
We are having the property re-striped, which includes the Fire Lanes and our visitor parking areas. They will be on property for a week or more.
