Starting on Monday, August 14th, the Pool will be changing opening hours to 3 PM to 9 PM.
Current Water Restrictions
The goal of water restrictions is to conserve the city’s water resources until drought conditions improve and the city water system has recovered to normal operating conditions.
Water restrictions are categorized as Stage 1 and Stage 2.
The City of Grand Prairie is currently under Stage 1 restrictions and we are nearing Stage 2. Your help is needed to conserve our water supply.

As the timestamp indicates, these three young men entered the pool enclosure around 3 AM this morning, and decided to move the picnic table seen next to them to the front near the gate. They also used the ladies bathroom and left a present.
As soon as we can identify these 3 individuals, they will be banned from the pool indefinitely.
If any of you know who these guys are, please let us know using a comment to this post.
We will pick up trash on Monday, July 3rd, as usual. Maintenance and the Office will be open.
The Office and Maintenance will be closed on July 4th. and will re-open on Wednesday, July 5th.
The Office will be closed on Monday, June 26th, and will re-open on Tuesday, June 27th at 8 AM.
We have been operating on bad information which led us to believe we had to have the Inspector approve us to open, but after calling and speaking with the Manager of Environmental Services, I was informed we did not have to wait for the Inspector to open the pool. They will simply show up unannounced, as they have always done.
Somehow, whoever we spoke with previously at this same department gave us bogus information, which has now been cleared up.
