I had noticed a car on the East side that looked a bit out of place. It sat in the same spot for multiple days so we called the tow company to have it removed, and sure enough, it was a stolen vehicle. This is the second stolen vehicle dumped here in about a month. The previous stolen vehicle was left under someone’s carport.
At around 4 AM this morning, and individual stole the tailgate off of the HOA’s 2011 F-250 Super Duty truck. We know when this was done as it was captured on surveillance. Based upon how the individual hugged the buildings to avoid the cameras, he knew they were there, which by inference, he either lives here or visits here.
The miscreant carried the stolen tailgate towards East Townhouse Lane, also captured on surveillance. This has been reported to GPPD. We have had reports of tailgates being stolen several years ago, so those residents with pickups, please be aware of this and take the necessary precautions. The easiest way, if your truck has it, is to lock the tailgate handle. If not so equipped, I am told adding in something as simple as a hose clamp over the hinge pins will deter theft. Tailgates are not cheap and finding one to match the truck is next to impossible.
Throughout this week we will be trimming shrubs, starting on the West side of the property. As with the grass, the recent large rainfalls have caused a growth spurt.
The latest GP Pipeline is available from the link above.
Following the Open Board Meeting on May 6th, the Board deliberated on the concerns voiced by the 60-80 residents (both owners and renters) who attended the meeting and in executive session the Board voted to discontinue the Register to park program. The R2Park signs will be removed over the weekend. Notices of the Board’s decision have been placed on each of the 416 properties here, as some mentioned they did not have a computer or access to the internet.
There will be a Special Meeting called in July to define what “48 Hour Limit” actually means. That has never been clearly delineated since its initial inception. Notices of this Meeting will be on the website and signs on property once it is scheduled.
