Month: February 2020
Painting season is upon us again, and this year we are painting the single story units starting at 31 – 45 West Townhouse Lane and continuing on the South side of the double drive (West Mountain Creek Drive) all the way to Belt Line Road. This will include 2 thru 84 West Mountain Creek Drive (even numbers only).
As usual, we will pressure wash the buildings and do necessary repairs prior to painting.
Sometime over the weekend, the City returned and packed in more dirt into the street and removed the barricades. The street is fully passable now The Director of Public Works emailed me and said that they will be back out in the next few weeks to do a permanent repair of the street.
Here is what it looks like now:
Below are photos if the repairs done on West Townhouse following the massive water leak on Monday.
This is the repair done sometime late Monday evening, after the City repaired the 6″ line:
This is the second repair made after they removed the asphalt from Monday:
As you can see from the minimal space to get past this repair,cars/trucks are having to drive over the grass to get through. Problem is, there is a fire hydrant right behind the fence, about a foot from the tire tracks. I have addressed this concern with the City and I am not sure how they will respond to it.
Until the street is properly repaired, the City may block off that section so residents will have to access that end of the street from W Mountain Cree Drive (the double drive). I will keep you advised once I hear more.
For the past week or so, we have had sewer pumper trucks cleaning out the main lines on both sides of the property. Usually, they are TRA (Trinity River Authority) trucks, but the last few trucks are from a company called AIMS. The one shown below is on East Mountain Creek Court and Warrior Trail. Not sure how long they will be working on the East side.
