Since we had bad weather over the weekend, we are opening the pool today. It will be open until 9PM.
Our office will be closed on Friday, June 9th. We will reopen on Monday, June 12th at 8 AM.
The Emergency Phone at the Pool has been repaired. The pool is open again as of 3 PM today.
The trash compactor is back after repairs and maintenance. Since we lease it, the costs were covered.
The Pool is closed until further notice due to the Emergency phone not being operational. It must be working or we cannot open the pool.
AT&T has been advised of the problem, but they are the one who cause the emergency phone to fail when they work on U-Verse or phone lines in the vicinity.
This is not the first time they have caused the emergency phone not to work.
We will advise once it has been repaired and is functional again.
Our trash compactor decided to come apart late last week. We had to make multiple trips to the dump, as Thursday was large item day on the East side. Of course it would break down on that day.
We currently have a 30 yard (cubic yard) dumpster and hopefully, it will get us through the interim period. We average 3-4 tons of trash twice a week from the property and there is no ETA on when we will get the trash compactor back; the hydraulic ram assembly came apart and tried to come out the front access plate.
We will be mowing the West side tomorrow, Wednesday, May 31st.
We will mow the East side on Friday, June 2nd.

We will pick up trash on Tuesday, May 30th.
We had a major water leak on East Mountain Lane yesterday; one of the 2″ supply lines cracked and the results are below. Whoever plumbed this place 45 years ago or whoever did repairs certainly got “creative”. The “camel hump” repair is done so that you can repair a section easily, but gives you 4 elbows that can crack and leak later. Most of our 2″ water line leaks are the result of elbows splitting at the seam.
This hole is about 5 feet deep and our guys worked on it from noon to 1AM to get the water back on. We are leaving the hole open for now and keeping an eye on the other copper pipe shown. We will probably change it out to PVC, buried copper tends to leak eventually.
Of course, we have been asked why we do not put notices out every time that we shut off water to do repairs. In emergency situations, like this one, we concentrate on fixing the problem.
If it is a slow leak or much smaller line leaking, we have time to notify people. This was not a small line leaking and time was better spent repairing things.
We have another leak, a small one, also on East Mountain Lane. We will be putting out noticed for this repair.
We will be doing a Large Item pickup for the West side this Thursday, May 25th. For the East side, large item pickup will be on June 1st.
We will pick up regular trash first and then come back around for the large items.
