Armed Robbery on East Mountain Creek Drive

CORRECTION:  wrong side on my initial posting. This happened on the East side, not the West…

We are just hearing about an incident that happened last week within our community in which someone was robbed at gunpoint as they arrived home and exited their vehicle.  Items were taken and no one is reported injured.  This is on top of the recent burglaries that happened in previous weeks, after which we contacted the GP Police and requested them to beef up patrols in our area.

Please be mindful of your surroundings and report any suspicious behavior to the GP Police immediately.

Debris Cleanup and Monday Trash Pickup

We need to keep the compactor empty to handle all the food people are likely to be throwing away on Monday, following the 20 hour power outage, so we cannot fill it up with tree branches and other debris. We will have the compactor empties following Monday’s trash pickup and several times more, as needed, to get ready for Thursday’s trash pickup.

We are going to cut up large branches today and leave them in place; small branches will be piled up or taken to the Dump.  I have a call into the tree service, but they are probably very busy right now. We have one tree that needs to be completely removed due to storm damage.

Fences will have to wait until we have large limbs and discarded food sorted. We will try to get to fence repairs beginning Tuesday.
