1. Will these new meters require a change in how the GPMCHA currently handles the water usage and billing? More directly, will we be charged for water usage after these new meters are installed?

   1. Sheri, these new meters will simply incorporate newer technology, so they can be read without taking off the heavy manhole covers. Our water bill averages $25,000 per month. We have about 25 main meters that cover the entire complex, we have never had individual meters for each house and will not be getting them anytime soon. That was addressed years ago and no one wanted the special assessment required to accomplish it. So, to answer your question, assessments will remain the same.

      We are not scheduled for these new meters until maybe later this summer. We will let everyone know when we get more information.
