The Office is closed for a few days

We are closing the office for a few days as we go over some accounting information from and for the CPA. This is due to the “Offset Account” within the accounting software.  We must determine some yearly closing balances for all 400 accounts so that the CPA can issue reports. The main portion of this was completed today and has been sent to the CPA’s office.

We will also be going back over QuickBooks entries and sending out statements to homeowner who show a balance due. We will give each and every homeowner the opportunity to dispute and/or to correct their account information.  It may be a week or so before these statements start going out, but they will be coming out soon.

Anyone with questions about statements for their accounts, please contact the Office for more information.

April 10th Meeting

At the April 10th Special Board Meeting, the following Resolutions were unanimously accepted by the Board:

  • Adopting Third Amended Bylaws of GPMCHA, Inc.
  • Adopting Second Amended Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R)
  • Adopting Payment Plan Guidelines and Application of Payments
  • Adopting Record retention and Destruction Policy

These newly Amended Bylaws and CC&R have been placed in the “Governing Documents” section in the menu, above.

Board Meeting, April 3, 2014

There will be an open Board meeting on Thursday, April 3rd, at 7PM in the Association Office.

Regular Session

  • Approve the 3rd Amended Bylaws and 2nd Amended CC&R
  • Discuss/Approve Payment Plan Resolution
  • Approve the Financial Draft for January/February 2014
  • Discuss getting Uniforms for the maintenance personnel
  • Discuss New Logo for the HOA (uniforms, letterhead and other HOA uses) and explore the cost of a custom logo for the HOA designed locally.

Executive Session to follow Regular Session

  • Temporary Labor for Painting
  • Pool Employees
  • Fidelity Bonds

2014 Board Election Results

After the counting of in-person ballots, absentee ballots and proxy votes, the following homeowners were elected to the Board for a 3 year term:

  • Dotti Tunnell
  • Robbie Jamison
  • Karelin Seitz
  • Don Ryan

Following the election of new Board members, the Board voted for officers as follows:

  • Don Ryan – President
  • John Moreno – Vice President
  • Robbie Jamison – Treasurer
  • Dotti Tunnell – Secretary

Officers are elected by the Board at each Annual meeting.

 

 

Our New Office Person

We have a new office person starting Tuesday, March 25th; her name is Terry Wilkerson and Mr. Wylie, our CPA, thinks highly of her from what I have been told by Robert.

All applicants for the Office position were tested for their proficiency in accounting and with QuickBooks, our accounting software; those who did not pass the CPA’s requirements and skill tests were not advanced to the next level of consideration.

Please join us in welcoming Ms. Wilkerson to our HOA.

Regular Board Meeting – February 6th, 2014

Our next Board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 6th and will be held at the HOA Office. The meeting will begin at 7PM.
