Just a reminder to all, before you add on anything to your property that was not there when you bought it, you need written approval from the HOA before you begin construction. Yes, you do need to get permits if the City requires one, but you need HOA permission due to deed restrictions as evidenced in the CC&R. Failure to get written approval from the HOA could result in having to remove whatever was constructed at your expense and return the property to its original state.
Please submit drawings prior to construction and get written approval from the HOA before you build anything, including storage buildings or awnings.
