S&P Tree Services will be back early next week to remove a large tree near east Townhouse Lane that is splitting badly and poses a risk of falling onto the common area behind the Shop. Below are a few photos:
In addition to the vertical splits, there is a horizontal split on a very large limb.
Therefore, this tree will be removed entirely.
We will be planting a few trees in the fall to add some shade to that area.
The offer for homeowners to trim their trees in their back yards still stands, if we can get enough homeowners together to make 7-8 hours of work for the tree service. S&P will extend our special pricing to our homeowners. If we get 6 or so homeowners, the individual costs would be less than $300; try getting a tree professionally trimmed for that.
We have many residents who should take advantage of this special offer from S&P to prevent the City or the HOA from issuing citations or fines in the near future.
