Carrier Parkway Low Water Crossing Gates<\/h2>\n

Approach the Gate, Wait, Evacuate Automated low water crossing gates have been installed on Carrier Parkway between Dickey Road on the north and Phillips Court to the south. The gates will lower to block northbound and southbound traffic on Carrier Parkway when Cottonwood Creek floods over the road near McFalls Park West. The gates have flash\u00ading lights and emit a warning sound as they lower. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If you get caught between the gates while traveling between Dickey Road and Phillips Court, stay calm. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Approach the Gate \u2013 Slowly drive toward the closed gate until a sensor on the closed gate is triggered <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wait – Wait for the gate to rise <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Evacuate – Continue driving away from the floodwater <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
